Sung Sot cave is situated on Bo Hou Island and is the finest and widest in Halong, It covers an area of 10,000 m2. It was the French who first discovered it and named it as “Grotte des surprises”.
The interior is nicely illuminated and walking through it is a great and nice experience, not like some of the other caves that I had visited before which has damp and slippery ground filled with smelly birds and bats droppings all over the place. With the help of the extra lighting inside it makes it so much easier to take shots of the interior, not to say the effect it created though not that natural. |
