Here you are another trial of mine to present you reminders of my last summer in Kotel at a moment between the day and night. I resort to PS a bit to let you see better the silhouettes of the once-typically built houses and cobbled streets.
Of course, nowadays, nobody builds excactly the same houses.
Nowadays streets are asphalted, it's another century nowadays.
But I guess, the old Bulgarians were crafted builders and masons.
I'd like to dedicate this shot to all my friends from the Balkans where emotions are still strong and they sometimes are an impediment to bridge-making and weaving ties of trust.
I'd also like to dedicate the shot to all those who don't want to lose their identity in uncontrolled McDonaldisation.
When we look at the mirror in the morning we want to see our features.
Let us decide what we consider useful or beautiful.
Let us be ourselves. |
