Driving through Honister pass in Borrowdale you will come upon the Honister Slate quarry. Stop here for geat views along the winding pass and the surrounding hills. I have posted a shot of this view as a workshop. Without a tripod and buffeted by a strong wind it is not too sharp but you find the view of interest. More information about the slate quarry

In curves [CTRL M]

Set black point to darkest shadow under FG slates
Set white point to whitest part of sky top right
Then I tweaked the curve slightly to make it look
about right brightness on my screen.
No adjustment to colour
USM 50: 1: 0. to sharpen slightly.
