 Wat Chai Watthanaram (30) migzal
(485) | Wat Chai Wattanaram.
Built in 1630 it was conceived as a replica of an Angkorian temple similar to that of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. It may have been built to commemorate the King’s victory over Thailand’s neighbour.
The main tower is surrounded by a series of smaller prangs situated alongside a gallery containing over 100 Buddha images.
The image is taken in HDR RAW file to give more detail in the sky and the tower. I failed to align the ghostly effect on the tree, I don't have enough time to clone it out so i decided to leave it as-is.
The man standing in front of the tower gives you an idea how tall this tower is.
