Santa Catalina (14)
miszka
(972)
Monasterio de Santa Catalina is one of the most fascinating examples of colonial sacral architecture in Peru. Build in 1580 and enlarged in XVII c. looks like a separate town with it's own streets and houses.
Nuns living in the monastery were completly secluded until 1970 when the monastery was opened to the visitors.

Just cropped it a bit on the right and added a frame to look more "postcardish" :)

I cropped the overexposed right part and framed the photo as a square.
Have a good day !
