Looking back at Madeira from near the end of São Lourenço peninsula, which is the east end of the island. The clouds love the 1800m. high mountains, and during my stay never left them. The peninsula is only accessible by walking, 3-4 hours return to the end from the end of the road.

180° turn, looking due east, to the eastern extremity of the island, morning light, so everything is backlit. On the right horizon, the Ilhas Desertas are visible, beyond that, Africa (not visible).
