While on photohunt at Mabu Island late afternoon, this episode of documentary touched my heart when I heard baby cries, and I must post it to share with you. You see, there was this Sea Bajau mother pushing her boat not too far from where I stood and I was drawn to it by the loud and sharp baby cries. I turned and watched, there was a baby girl crawling in front of the mother, while a boy was climbing out of sea water onto the boat.

I pointed my camera to this scene and shot this view. It is a case of the great mother's love for her baby. The mother raised her hand, paused her stick for a few seconds. To see what happened next, please look at the Workshop.

A Sea Bajau mother's love. It is universal, regardless of who she is, where she is and what she is. The four letter word - LOVE.

Thank you for viewing. Regards, Bill

It is called 'LOVE'

I kept watching and holding my camera.

The next minute, the mother placed her stick down, pulled up her blouse and began to breast-feed the hungry baby. Such a real life happening at sea.

The woman acted as boatman, (breadwinner? because I did not see the father), mother and home provider. She acted instinctively and an all-rounder. She might not be well equipped, educated nor prepared but she was independent and facing the sea and the world on her own.

Well, it touched my heart.
