I took a series of shots but chose this one northern direction. I was not afforded early morning shots due to late afternoon arrival. Even then, the afternoon sky was not spectacular but still acceptable. You can the Sea Bajau huts here in the sea, away from the land with no wooden access. Children at young age already knowing how to swim at far left, and managing the boat. These are their basic survival skills living off the sea. A professor friend of mine once saw such kind of photo and asked me about safety and life jackets and adult supervision.
Well, what do you think? Survival! These children fear nothing out of the sea, it is home. At such young age, I am not surprised if they also prove to be useful to the family by hunting for fish and helping with daily life chores. You will have to stay longer there to find out, live with them and know them well. Another trip in plan?
