I guess I've become so accustomed to the weather here in South Carolina, I didn't realize spring hadn't quite made it that far north yet. Very few flowers aside from daffodils and crocus had started blooming yet and it was typical spring weather most of my stay. Rain, clouds, gray. On the one nice day, I managed a few shots. I took this from my car. Why they have carriage rides around my hometown is a puzzle to me, but I suppose people enjoy them. What I found amusing in this shot was the cell phone in the pocket of his overalls. Those kind of jeans are a very common sight back home. I love overalls. He was pretty bundled up, so it must be kind of chilly riding around on an open carriage. |
