Hello Ioana,
Like I told you, I thought the shots was a bit underexposed. So I used photoshop to bring some light using the shadow/highlight tools. I only touched the shadows and let the light as it was. Then, since I thought the wood was so well textured, I dodged and burned to increase the contrast in some details. I also added saturation in some specific spots (rust, wire, water) to make sure it pops out.
of course, I was working with a low-resolution pic under 200kb, so after the work, it got a bit grainy. But if you try on your original picture, you should get way better results.
I exxagerated the effects to make sure it was visible...probably that I would not have gone that far for one of my post, but those ws are to be used for this, isn't it?:D
I know that it is now very much digitally manipulated, but I like the results. What do you think? |
