On the picture you can see the biggest dune near Merzouga. Itīs over 250 meters tall and needs more time to ascend than you would expect.Thatīs because your feet always sink in the sand. But it wasnīt too hot that day, so we all survived the hike :-). By the way, from the top of the dune on the picture, I took that photo. The view from the top was so wonderful (you could see so many other smaller dunes and the little town Merzouga), that it was more than worth the effort of the hike.
In the Workshop you can see the way up from a differnet point of view.

Here you can see the "path" which leads to the top of the dune from a different point of view.
If you look close to the left side of the picture, youīll also recognize two dromedaries standing there.
