After taking some pictures of Aya Sofya, I walked around the fountain basin, and found this wonderful view of the Blue Mosque. When you are in Sultanahmet park in Istanbul, you never really know at which of those two magnificent buildings you'd like to look first.
This is the famous Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Camii) in Istanbul. This well known site is much photographed (there are so many photos around on TE). Nevertheless, this impressive building (dating back to the 17th century) fully deserves such attention. Stunnig during daytime, looks impressive at night as well. I hope you like it.
