Gimp: sharpen and crop

I find the colours, light and even the sharpness original surprisingly good for a scan, but I suspected that sharpness could be improved with little effort. I applied the simple "sharpen filter" of Gimp adjusted for 35 on a scale 0 to 100. I didn't do it on the sky to avoid noise. I also applied some gaussian blur to the sky to make it smoother.
I cropped a bit on the left and on the top just to put it more in accordance with the thirds rule. |
