New Plymouth sunset (22)
Kay01 (53)
Quite by accident I finished up in the right place at the right time with this beautiful sunset. The colours are natural, however reflect the extra colour that we get when Australia is suffering bush fires. The wide open bay is a delightful spot to walk along at night.

Other than resizing it has not been enhanced.

Although making this a total silhouette is an option, I chose to clone the guy out. I like having some detail in the sand. I also sharpened everything in a separate level, and then erased the sky from the sharpened level. I also vignetted the entire shot slightly by creating another separate level, adjust the curves on the shadow side, and erasing everything except the edges of the image.

I adjusted the darker parts to black using "levels", then I increased the saturation just slightly.
