Here is a little girl discovering that the world is bigger than she thought it was, only a moment ago.
On a cultural note, children in Denmark have seasonal uniforms, so to speak. In the winter all children from 0 up to 8 or 9 years old, wear snow suits. In spring, autumn, and often summer too, children are set out to play in plastic pants and coats due to the fact it is so wet here. (The bright pink pants here are an example of plastic wear). Danes value children playing outside in all weather, and therefore buy clothing appropriate for the purpose. |
