The church of Santiago is of Romanesque origin though it was extended and reformed in the XIVth and XVIth century.
According to the tradition it was where they were arming themselves the gentlemen of the Order of Santiago. His tower octogonal is the unique model in the city. The church Francisco Ruiz was rebuilt on Monk's initiative, it consists of an alone ship of great extent and chapels between his buttresses, his major chapel is ochavada and of wide proportions.
The access to the interior is done by means of a small portico of renascent aesthetics but that supports the Gothic tradition in his abovedamiento of crucería.

Sight from the wall of the church of Santiago with Paramera's saw to the fund.

A WS with another capture.
