 Karlskirche Mozart (14) Asiulus
(908) | One of the "Mozarts" who encourage people to buy tickets. This one enjoyed a moment of peace eating and, apparently, making a phone call ;-) Location: the passage at the entrance to the baroque Karlskirche (St. Charles Church).
The 18.century church is one of Vienna's well known tourist attractions. Huge, containing a lift helping the tourists to aprecciate rich decorations high above inside the dome... Well, I didn't go for it because the tickets were quite expensive and that would be the 8. church I visited that day. All the others could be entered for free (for example Franziskanerkirche or stunningly decorated Jesuitenkirche). |
