If by chance you travel to Burgundy, don't miss this nice medieval city of Semur-en-Auxois.
It is a true treasure along the Armançon river with its four big medieval towers still guarding the city (out of 17 initially). The main one "Tour de l'Orle d'Or" shows an impressive fracture since 1602...but it is still there.
This picture was taken at the "light blue" hour. You will also notice in the background the Collégiale Notre-Dame hosting the magnificent sculpture I posted previously.
