 Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois (88) Tue
(23063) | Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois
In the introduction of the Paris-Travelogue, I already announced that I even would post a photo of a stained glass window. I never managed to get a successful photo of it with my previous camera, but much to my surprise, my new camera produces much better results. Here can you see one. It was taken in l'Église Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois in Paris.
Somehow the exif-data went missing, so I add them to the photo information to the left.
L'Église Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois is located in the heart of the city, right behind Musée du Louvre, at Place du Louvre. It's a Roman Catholic church, the oldest part is the church tower, dating back to the 12th century. The biggest part of the church was rebuilt in the 15th century.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information on this particular window. If anyone recognises something, please, let me know.
Hope you like this photo! |
