Can you see a woman's head in the low left corner?
she has her eyes closed, a thin line of eyebrow and a nose, Gorgon hair scattered on the ground...
She is dreaming of Rain, she's been waiting for him for so long, she is crying...
Her name is Kalahari.

Regarding geographical position: I have to confess I simply guessed the state Hardap. I have no idea what we were flying over when I took this photo. Somewhere in the southern Namibia. But does it really matter?? :) |

to leave an idea of having a photo as close to reality as possible and to go for brightness and expression...
I thought, my original photo looked too faded-colored to the most of viewers, so I decided to check out another approach to your hearts:)
here is the version which was changed using levels, curves and additional sharpening. Now it doesn't look like anything real but might be more attractive as an abstract piece. please let me know which you like better! Cheers, Olga |
