* removing red/magenta color cast
* boosting up the colors
* putting some green colors back in the tree
* removing grain in the sky
* 20% sharpening on the tree

I selected the foreground area only, refining the selection to include the vegetation and exclude the dune (it would have worked better with a higher resolution). Then I selected Levels and lowered the midtone slider to 0.70. I had tried 0.80 first, but that wasn't quite enough.
