Surprised that you replied that no color adjustment was done, I remembered that often I had a purple fringe on my photos when there was a lot of sun (also nikon 5700). At first I used a lot of cyan-filter to adjust it. Now I use a more sure method of a color balance layer adjusting: in the highlights selecting the white with the eye dropper tool on a part of the image that should be pure white and adjusting it by comparing in the color palet so that the sliders in the color palet are at the same level to get pure white.
I do the same for shadows (black leveling) and midtones (grey leveling) till I am satisfied.( I learned this recently from David Plummer, and I enjoy his method.)
So I applied this on the land with a tiny saturation up.
On top and for the fun I applied a soft glow on the sunny parts of the top of the land to evocate the sunny heat dancing on the mountain.
Like I said clors and preferences are undisputable, I didn't want to rehold my view and I hope you like it.( I did overdo it a tiny bit, I think, but you see now clearly the differance)
