Workshop Note
In PS:
-converted to 16-bit
-moved white point inward in 'levels'
-adjusted 'curves' (downward bending to darken background)
-reduced to 750 pix (there's so much detail here, it doesn't compress well)
-back to 8-bit
The procedure would have worked better starting from the original file, but this gives an idea. Hope you like it.
