Actually, I can't even say for sure what country it was...)
I only guess it was Italy.
This picture was taken on the plane from Barcelona to Moscow. As I remember, something like 40 min after take off. so, the triangle France-Switzerland-Italy seems to be more accurate location, although less precise.

I made use of noise ninja plugin in photoshop. I profiled the image, noise reduction on +13, softness +3. I exaggerated the effect by putting the contrast to the maximum, +20.

The original is much more mystical. This version gives more details on the mountains. Hope you like it!
