The Burning Bush (75)

This photo was taken about 15 minutes after this photo and about 1 mile away.

I thought I was done taking pictures for the day, but as we were driving down the road from the Bonneville Salt Flats, I noticed how the setting sun was illuminating these dried up bushes, and I decided to stop and take a picture. The sun had already begun to disappear behind the mountains to my left when I shot this and 30 seconds later it was gone completely, no more light.

It looks like someone decided to ride their bike right through the middle of this bush. You can see their tire marks in the soft ground.

A circular polarizer was also used along with the ND Grad.

Definitely no workshop but I just wanted to post mine. Taken in Sahiba Sands, Oman. Mine with flash. I think the light was about the same as yours but I couldn't capture it. I had a ND grad with me and a polarizer but not the skills. You gallery is very inspiring and helps me. Gilbert
