Simple filter you can get on the internet called Neat Image that does a good job of reducing noise on a picture. Especially good with pictures of the sky I find.

this is what i meaned. if you cut, you have less light of the sky and the reflection of the sun on the sand will come out and be more expressive.
maybe you'll like it!
