Snow Blind by nmess (2289)Taken:
This image gives a little idea how life can be during a ground blizzard in NE Montana. A short distance in front of me is a large Tractor, but about all that can be made out is a shadow through the blowing snow, ice and dust at this point. It's kind of amazing to me just how much snow and other matter can be picked up and blown about during these times. I might mention that road conditions as you can imagine were treacherous to say the least. I also almost lost my hat taking this picture. It blew off of my head and left me chasing it through crusted and rotten snow up past my knees. It was not a day to be roaming around, but how can one resist the opprotunity that accompanies such days.
