This young man and his younger brother were curious to see what the foreign visitors were doing at the waterfall near their farm.

I started again with the RAW file and made sure (with Levels) that the image was dark enough to keep some sky color, then used the PS tool that allows one to lighten shadows and darken highlights. Also I selected the skin areas of the image and lightened them to what felt like the right level. Was careful this time not to let the grass get too garish! And I used the clone stamp tool to remove the blades of grass from in front of their faces. Cropped more off the top with the result of enlarging the inage of the boys.
