I was not aware that they were actually welcoming us to their village. So, we got off the bus, and watching their performace. They offered us some cookies [will upload the picture later]. However, all of the performances were done by men, no women involved in this ceremony. Women only watched from sides of the road.
Very interesting culture and nice people. This picture was captured at a small village at South Khorasan Province, about two hour drive from Birjand, capital of the province. |
