 Moray Arcology (22) gravatar
(1299) | These terraces were a farming arcology built by the ancient Incans. These terraces actually created multiple micro climates capable of growing corn, lintels, gourds, lucumas, quinoa, and passion fruit all in the same farm. The different levels not only had widely different humidity levels, but also varied in temperature up to 20 degrees Fahrenheit. This goes to show that, in numerous ways, the native people of the Andes were more technologically advanced than the Europeans that conquered them.
