I've mentioned before how attractive the Italian Street Painting Festival is for photographers, so clearly, no presentation of this fine event would be complete without some attention paid to those folks carrying cameras. As we all know, cameras come in a variety of forms and in the hands of creative men and women can be used many different ways. That being said, I found it a bit strange to see this woman staring up in the air as she focused her camera at a scene lying on the pavement at her feet. I've no doubt she knew what she was doing but I'd love to see the photo she captured.

As workshops to this image I'll include two other photographers working at the festival. The first is a lovely man with a bald head who intently moved from place to place as he took repeated photos. He was no doubt an amateur much like the rest of us. The second is a "staff photographer" who lugged his own step ladder as well as a backpack filled with very expensive camera gear. I found him on the job both days I attended. On the second day he had an assistant carrying his ladder and helping to clear the field so he could get his photos. I'd love to see his work as well.

This was shot the first day of the festival. He's shooting with a 1 series Canon camera with an EF70-200 f/2.8L IS mounted. I saw him use many lenses and a second film camera during the two days. He clearly knew what he was doing.

He's shooting with Canon equipment. I'm impressed with bald men who walk around in the hot sun without concern for their scalps. He was intent on nothing but the images at his feet.
