It is not easy to get a good overview of the surroundings in Finland since there are no mountains and few hills. Even when you get to the top of a hill the forest blocks the view. However, on the outskirts of Heinävesi a wooden tower was build on the top of a hill. From the top it's easy to appreciate the beauty of the Finnish landscape.
Tech Note
Quite a lot of PP work on this one
The image was shot in front of the sun, resulting in a dark forest and well exposed skies.
First took some details out using Nikon Capture
Later I worked separately on the skies and the forest in PS.
