Once upon a time, when I was a child, for a little more then 2 years I was a part of that population :).
The town is a mixture of Romanians, Hungarians, Sasi (Germans) and Gypsies with their different religions and traditions. I remember, in school there were 4 classes in a year, 2 Romanians, one Hungarian and one German (this was smaller) and I consider the fact that I grew up, for some time, in a mixed culture a good thing for my human relationship in the future (the future being now).
The colorful building near the tower was (and still is, as I understand) a school :)
PS: I know it does not look grate, but I wanted to put it anyway :) |
