It is perched about 3/4 of the way up a steep mountain. (I am terrifed of heights, so it is an act of bravery on my part to even get there)The food is excellent, the hospitality wonderful, the air fresh (outside), landscape beautiful beyond belief, BUT, nepalis have no chimneys in their homes. I had to leave the kitchen quick and take this from a doorway. Everyone left, (Nepalis usually never notice the smoke) it was so bad, even the cook. The house is traditional orange painted. She is cooking buffalo meat in this picture, (delicious). |
