Separating Sky from Water (54)

So light and darkness already separated on the first day, "darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters..."

Then "...God said, 'Let there be an expanse between the waters' 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. 8 God called the expanse "sky."

And that took place on the second day.

I used auto-enhance and lowered brightness, to emphasize the orange "Spirit" and light/darkness, to get some tone commonality between "the water under the expanse and the water above it" (the water inside the cloud), rather than showing details of cloud and waves.

BONUS: Check the WORKSHOP - a complementary shot of this moment, in a more open scene with vague symmetry. Actually I couldn't decide which one to post as main version.

Just another view of this moment.

The downwards sunbeams are orange, and those upwards are white.

And there seems to be some vague symmetry in the shapes of the clouds, in white on left and dark on right, like a vague negative; or maybe it's my imagination
