I remember 40 years ago they were quite everywhere. Now I didn't see them for many years. In Amsterdam there are still some of them ... I hope they will rest there.
Next to this one is the HOMOMONUMENT of Amsterdam. I think it is unique in the world that there is a monument for gay people which were victims of political regimes like Nazi Germany.
