the child and curiosity (6) sencer
(240) | A prayer in Süleymaniye Mosque. While the man was praying, his son suddenly paid attention to his actions and began to take photograph of his father. Maybe he wasn't aware about what his father is doing but he was very curious about that. I liked composition and now post it in here.
Süleymaniye Mosque (1557) is Istanbul's largest and grandest. Designed by the Ottoman Empire's greatest architect, Mimar Sinan, the Süleymaniye dominates the city's Third Hill overlooking the Golden Horn. The architect, Sinan, based his design on Byzantine churches, in particular the Hagia Sophia. The large central dome above a square opens to smaller spaces vaulted by buttressing half-domes. The four tapering minarets with balconies are characteristic of the architectural style of later Islamic mosques.
