This is my vision of the photo.

1. Added contrast.
2. Less gamma.
3. Added reddish colour cast.
4. Saturated the colours.

accentuate clouds

I tried to make a quite different image.

1. applied lens filter a85 75% twice in PS CS2.
2. adjusted levels to accentuate the sky in the sunset.
3. applied smart sharp (40%, 0.2, lens).
4. smoothed in NeatImage (Noise Reduction Amounts H:25% M:10% L:5%).
