 Seba Beach (8) dcawker
(5263) | Seba Beach is on Wabamun Lake in Alberta, Canada. I woke extremely early one morning and noticed that the water was rough and went down to the shore line and shot this picture. As it was so many years ago, I don't remember the camera or lens that I was using but enjoy the rather dark tone to the photo. It was from a small print and scanned into a JPG.
I used the 'Rectangular Marquee Tool' to select the top half of the shot - the sky. Then I went to 'Filter' and then 'Render' and finally 'Lighting Effects'. Once inside this filter I chose 'Light Type: Omni' and used a radial gradiant to give the sky this rounded, darkened hue.
The picture already had a slightly dark, spooky tone and hopefully you'll feel that my alterations to the top-half of the shot enhanced this effect. |
