I went out this afternoon with the intention of taking the winter view of the canal which I posted the other day. Unfortunately I couldn't get to the bridge because there was approximately a 3 ft snow bank barring the way to the path which was also covered in about 2 feet of snow, so I looked for another subject and saw the long road up to the communicty entrance way. This is the road which the residents have to take to the mailboxes which are at the entrance way to the community.

I tried to get more emphasis on that nice curve running up the picture and the pile of snow in the first plan. I croped the sides hard, selected sky and applied levels to increase contrast. I selected snow in the front and applied a little more contrast and unsharp mask.
