This photo was taken at the Thupten Tholing. The Monastery is an hour and a half north of Junbesi on the Everest Trek five days from Jiri. They do not see a lot of visitors because they are off the main trekking route. The Rinpoche and monks are very welcoming and kind. It was one of the highlights of our trip and really worth the detour.

Using Photoshop CS2, I touched up as many of the white scanning spots as I could find, especially that big one on the young monk's ear.

Then I darkened the window area using a copy layer and a mask.

Finally, sharpened it and added a border.
