This is the view from Kala Pattar of Mt Everest, the tallest mountain on Earth. Everest of course is the black peak in centre of the shot. The seemingly higher peak to the right is Lhotse. The summit of Kala Pattar (a "hill" across the valley from Everest - 5545m high!) is made up of scattered broken rocks, some of which have been piled up into cairns, strewn with prayer flags flapping in the icy wind. They made a perfect colourful foreground for this picture.

Hi Phillip, I really liked your image, I thought I would try it out in B&W, I just greyscaled it, sharpened slightly and added a border, I hope you like, regards John.
