That was a foggy morning in Mansonville, at La Chouette, a welcoming bed and breakfast with friendly owners.
The Blue Jay is a well known bird of this country. It is a very beautiful one, but its sounds are more like cries. The 19th-century writer Henry David Thoreau described the Blue Jay’s most characteristic sound as an "unrelenting steel-cold scream". Right! |
