The first rain fell two weeks ago and its followers - the automn flowers - are at peak of their blossom all around Israel. I will post a couple of their pics in the comming days.

This one is Khavatzelet Hanegev (Pancratium sickenbergeri). I took this pic Yesterday in the sand dunes near Nitzana, not far from the border with Egypt. I was looking in the dunes for some minutes and then I spotted this fellow standing alone in the sand dancing with the wind.

Hi Yonathan,

This is a great image to work with, and I would have liked to spend more time postprocessing it...
A quick fix: contrast, curves, saturation +15, more contrast; unsharp mask; color balance (I saw a little too much magenta), and contrast again.

I find the original to lack colors and contrast.
Added contrast, lowered brightness
Used Shadows/Highlights to darken image a bit.
Fine tuned contrast again
Sharpened slightly.
