Picture shows the houses in the old mining town Røros. As a result of the mining done here, this area holds the worlds most northern desert due to lumbering. The city is also listed in the UN world heiritage list. At the far end of this street you can se part of the the enourmous pile of leftover from the extraction of the iron ore.

I feel the main problem here is the blown-out sky, that’s why I added a sepia tone in order to hide it to some degree… Besides I think sepia fits your subject!
