Statues in Camellia Garden (38) weswang
(18223) | This is another shot from Huntington Library. There is a very brief introduction about the library in my last post.
The statues are located in north vista of Camellia Garden. The life size statues are 17th and 18th century limestone figures from mythology.
At the far end is a 17th century Italian fountain in the baroque style.
I waited to the last moment to take this picture at 4:30pm when the library was closed for public access About this time, all the status were under the shade. I may go back to the library some other time in February when the camellia flowers are blossom.
The size reduction to fit in the TE made the status not clear. To make a better view of the status, I have made a different version of cropping in WS. |
