In reality, the two currents - Warm Agulhas and Cold Benguela - is ever-changing so that the currents meet somewhere between Mossel Bay and Cape Point. This can change on any day; the exact point is thus not exact!
Cape Point has the highest lighthouse in South Africa. Also, the original lighthouse had to be lowered because it was situated above the fog and ships would not be able to see the lighthouse! The Flying Dutchman - a ghost ship - also does its rounds here.
