This is the temple of Minerva in the ancient roman town of Sufetula in modern Sbeďtla. This site is most famous for it's three temples which are fairly well preserved, the temple of Jupiter is partly visible to the right. Particularly interesting about the Minerva temple is that under the "roof" very elaborate marble ornamentations are almost intact. I have a picture of that also which might come later. Since this site lies so much out of the way for most tourists, close to Algeria in the inner highlands, you can get the whole site for yourself except for a gardener or two. This day was extremely hot, and by the time I arrived at all my water was hot, so this site wasn't as much pleasure as it could have been, but I was focused on trying to get some nice shots at least.
This picture is one of my favorites because of the bright light shining through, and I also for once like the lense flares. I saturated red, yellow and blue quite a lot and reduced contrast to reveal some details of the buildings. My paper copy is almost black and white.
