No mistakes here. This picture is uncropped and this is how i intended it to be. Aetas, of the Philippines, are marginalized people. They have no homes of their own and they are looked down by the vast majority. However, they try to live an honest and dignified life and the way people look at them is changing a little. This picture says it all. It is only partly hidden to show that they are starting to get into the mainstream. I chose a child to send the message across. His innocent look is begging for acceptance. I also shoot him against the powdery white sand of Boracay to set the contrast of his dark skin and the sand. The society should be more welcoming as the sand.
Auto level, contrast and color. I desaturated the color a bit. The absence of a big frame (as in my other picture) is intentional. Give me your comments PLEASE. I want to present this to our Filipino Community here in Bangkok. Any way that I can improve this?

noise, sharpen, blur

First I ran NeatImage to get rid of the noise, then ran auto levels, a few unsharp masks on the boy, and a gaussian blur on the background. Hope you like it!
