"Bahia Honda" means "deep bay" in Spanish, and the word "key" of course comes from the Spanish "cayo" - little flat island, loosely translated.
This is my last photo before the Summer, just as our camping trip to the State Park was our last family vacation here in Florida before the big move this fall. If all goes as planned, we'll be in Toronto by the end of Autumn. This is defintely an island to visit and get away from it all for a while, as I hope you can see by the photo. The quiet isolation during the off season was wonderful, and something we will all remember always. |
